Experience Badlands Overlook

Getting There

    If you are already within Theodore Roosevelt National Park, head towards the South Unit. From the South Unit Visitor Center, take the Scenic Loop Drive. Continue along the loop for approximately 14 miles. Look for the sign indicating Badlands Overlook; it will be located on the right side of the road. There is a parking area available for visitors at the overlook. Please note that there is an entrance fee to the park which is $30 per vehicle for a 7-day pass.

    For those who prefer cycling, you can also access Badlands Overlook via the Scenic Loop Drive. Start from the South Unit Visitor Center and bike along the road. Be sure to stay on designated bike paths where available. This route is approximately 14 miles one-way and offers stunning views along the way.
