Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from Garapan, the main tourist area in Saipan, head north on Beach Road (also known as Route 30). Continue walking along the beachside promenade until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Turn left onto Route 1 and continue walking. After about 2.5 kilometers, you will reach a sign for Banzai Cliff on your right. Follow the path that leads up to the cliff area, where you can enjoy the stunning views and visit the memorials.

Public Bus
From Garapan, you can catch the local bus that travels toward the northern part of the island. Look for a bus heading towards 'Marpi.' Once on the bus, inform the driver you want to get off at the stop for Banzai Cliff. The bus will take you along Route 1, and the stop is near the entrance to Banzai Cliff. After getting off, walk a short distance to the cliff area.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the shops in Garapan. From Garapan, ride north along Beach Road until you reach Route 1. Turn left onto Route 1 and continue cycling for approximately 2.5 kilometers. Look for the Banzai Cliff sign on your right, and follow the path leading up to the cliff.
