Car
If you are traveling by car, start by heading towards Oslo. From Akershus, take the E6 highway towards Oslo. Once you reach the city, follow signs for Bygdøy. Take the exit onto Route 319, which leads to the Bygdøy peninsula. Continue straight until you reach Chr. Frederiks vei; Bygdøy strand is located at Chr. Frederiks vei 22, 0287 Oslo. There is limited parking available nearby, so be prepared for possible parking fees.
Public Transportation
To reach Bygdøy strand using public transportation, take the Oslo Metro (T-bane) Line 1 (Frognerseteren) or Line 2 (Sognsvann) to the 'Nationaltheatret' station. From there, transfer to Bus 30 (Bygdøy) and ride it directly to the Bygdøy peninsula. The bus route will take you past several attractions.
