Car
If you're driving, start by heading south on E6 from any location in Akershus towards Oslo. Continue on E6 for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the exit for Oslo. Once you are in Oslo, follow the signs for 'Sofienberg' and 'Grunerlokka'. Keep on driving until you reach the intersection with Bislett. From there, turn onto Bislett and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Grimelundsveien. Turn left onto Grimelundsveien and the Emanuel Vigeland Museum will be on your left at number 8. There is limited parking available near the museum.
Public Transportation
To reach the Emanuel Vigeland Museum using public transportation, you can take a train from any station in Akershus to Oslo Central Station (Oslo S). Once at Oslo S, transfer to tram line 17 (towards Rikshospitalet) or tram line 18 (towards Frydenlund). Get off at the 'Grunerlokka' stop. From there, walk north on Bislett and take a left onto Grimelundsveien. The museum will be on your left at Grimelundsveien 8. The total travel time should be around 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on connections.
