If you're driving from any location in Akershus, head towards the E6 highway. Follow the signs for Oslo. Once you enter Oslo, stay on E18 towards Oslo sentrum. Take the exit towards E18 and follow the signs for Sørenga. Continue straight until you reach Sørenga 5, where you will find Mariakirkens ruiner. Be aware that parking may be limited, so look for nearby parking facilities.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a train from your nearest station in Akershus to Oslo Central Station (Oslo S). Once at Oslo S, transfer to the bus or tram. You can take tram line 12 towards Majorstuen and get off at the Aker Brygge stop. From there, it’s a short walk to Sørenga 5. Alternatively, you can catch bus line 81 or 75 towards Sørenga, getting off at the Sørenga stop, which is right next to Mariakirkens ruiner.
