Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start by heading towards Oslo from Akershus. Use the E6 highway, which is the main route connecting Akershus to Oslo. Once you approach Oslo, follow signs for the city center. As you get closer, take the exit for 'Sentrum' and then follow directions towards 'Stranden'. There are several parking options nearby, including public parking garages. Be prepared to pay for parking, which usually costs around 25-40 NOK per hour.

• Public Transportation (Train)

  From various locations in Akershus, you can take a train to Oslo Central Station (Oslo S). The NSB trains run frequently and the journey typically takes between 20 to 40 minutes depending on your starting point. Once you arrive at Oslo Central Station, exit the station and head towards the bus terminal. You can either walk or take tram number 12 or 13 from the nearby stop, 'Jernbanetorget', heading towards 'Majorstuen'. Get off at the stop 'Aker Brygge', which is a short walk to 'Stranden'.
