If you are traveling by car from anywhere in Akershus, take the E6 highway towards Oslo. Follow signs for 'Oslo' and stay on the E6 until you reach the exit for 'Oslo sentrum' (Oslo city center). After exiting, continue straight on to the 'Ullevålsveien' road. Follow Ullevålsveien and turn right onto 'Bislett', then take a left on 'Frederiks gate'. Continue straight until you reach 'Brynjulf Bulls plass'. The National Museum will be on your right. To reach The National Museum via public transportation, take a train from any station in Akershus to Oslo Central Station (Oslo S).
