Car
From anywhere in Akershus, get onto the E6 highway heading towards Oslo. Follow the signs for Oslo and stay on the E6 for approximately 30 kilometers. As you approach Oslo, take the exit towards 'Sentrum' which will lead you onto the Ring 1 road. Continue on Ring 1 until you reach Brynjulf Bulls plass. The National Museum will be on your right. Look for parking options nearby, as street parking can be limited.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, you can take the train from any station in Akershus to Oslo Central Station (Oslo S). Trains are frequent and the journey typically takes about 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive at Oslo Central Station, exit the station and head towards the nearby Bus Terminal. From there, you can take Bus 30 or Bus 54 towards 'Aker Brygge'. Get off at the stop 'Nationaltheatret', which is a short walk from the museum. Head towards Brynjulf Bulls plass, and the National Museum will be located at number 3.
