Walking
From the city center of Ålesund, start at the main square (Apotekertorget). Head northwest on Storgata street towards the roundabout. Continue on Storgata until you reach the next intersection, where you'll see a sign for Markvegen. Turn right onto Markvegen. Follow Markvegen uphill for approximately 800 meters. You will pass several residential buildings. Keep an eye out for the signs pointing towards Storhaugen View. Once you reach the top of the hill, the viewpoint will be on your left. Enjoy the panoramic views of Ålesund!

Bus
From the city center, walk to the nearest bus stop at 'Apotekertorget' and take bus number 11 heading towards 'Haukerød'. The bus will take you along the coast and up the hill. Get off at the 'Markvegen' stop. From there, walk up Markvegen for about 300 meters, and you will reach the Storhaugen View on your left. Make sure to check the bus schedule for timings.
