Getting There

  • Walking

    From the main area of Bryggen, head towards the waterfront. Walk along the harbor promenade, keeping the historic wooden buildings of Bryggen on your left. Continue straight until you reach Torget, which is the central square. The Bryggen Hansa Quarter is located at Torget 13, right at the edge of the square. Look for a tall building with colorful facades, and you'll find the entrance there.

    If you are further away, you can take the light rail (Bybanen) to 'Bergen sentrum' station. After disembarking, exit the station and head towards the harbor area. Follow the waterfront promenade until you reach Bryggen. From there, follow the walking directions to Torget 13. Please note that a single ticket for the light rail costs approximately 40 NOK.
