Walking
If you're starting from the famous Bryggen Wharf, head east along the waterfront towards the Fish Market. Continue walking along the harbor, taking in the sights. After you pass the Fish Market, turn left onto Øvregaten Street. The Hanseatic Museum is located at Øvregaten 50, just a short walk ahead on your left. It is a red wooden building and hard to miss.

If you are near the Central Station (Bergen Stasjon), you can take bus number 3 or 4 towards Møhlenpris. Board the bus at the station and ride for about 5 minutes. Get off at the 'Torgallmenningen' stop. From there, walk towards the harbor, and continue towards Øvregaten Street. The museum will be on your left at Øvregaten 50.

From the Bergen Light Rail station at Bryggen, take the light rail towards Lagunen. Get off at the 'Bergen Kunstmuseum' stop after 2 stops. From there, walk down to Øvregaten Street by heading south for about 10 minutes. The Hanseatic Museum is located at Øvregaten 50, on your right.
