Bus
From Bergen city center, walk to the nearest bus stop, like 'Bergen Busstasjon' (Bergen Bus Station). Take bus number 3 towards 'Paradis'. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the 'Gamlehaugvegen' stop. From there, it is a short walk to Gamlehaugen, located at Gamlehaugvegen 10. Follow the signs towards Gamlehaugen, which is a beautiful historic building and museum set in a picturesque park.
Light Rail
From the city center, find the light rail station at 'Bergen Storsenter'. Take the light rail Line 1 towards 'Lagunen'. You will need to change at 'Byparken' station to Line 2 towards 'Nesttun'. Get off at 'Paradis' station. From Paradis, it's about a 15-minute walk to Gamlehaugen. Simply head towards Gamlehaugvegen, which is well-signposted.
Walking
If you enjoy walking, you can stroll from the city center towards Gamlehaugen. Starting from Torgallmenningen, head south on Østre Skostredet, continue onto Håkonshallen and follow the road towards the hills. The walk will take around 1 hour, leading you through beautiful streets and parks until you reach Gamlehaugen at Gamlehaugvegen 10.
