If you are traveling by car, drive towards Tessanden. From the main road E6, take the exit towards Fv51, which leads into the beautiful Jotunheimen National Park area. Follow the signs for Gjende. You will drive along Fv51 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the town of Tessanden. Use your GPS to navigate to the coordinates 61.4950395, 8.7702388. There is parking available near the lake area, but depending on the season, it may be busy, so arrive early.
