Getting There

Car

If you are driving from Besseggen Ridge to Jotunheimen National Park, start by heading southwest on the road that leads to E16. After approximately 15 km, take the exit onto E16 towards Fagernes. Continue on E16 for about 21 km until you reach the junction with FV51. Take FV51 towards Beitostølen. Follow FV51 for about 25 km until you reach the park entrance at Vølbusvegen 17, 2940 Heggenes. Be aware that parking fees may apply at the park entrance.
Public Transportation

To reach Jotunheimen National Park using public transport, start by taking a bus from Besseggen Ridge to the nearest bus terminal in Gjendesheim. From Gjendesheim, you can catch a bus operated by Nor-Way Bussekspress heading towards Fagernes. The journey takes approximately 1.5 hours. Once in Fagernes, transfer to a local bus heading to Heggenes. This bus will take you to Vølbusvegen 17, 2940 Heggenes, which is the entrance to Jotunheimen National Park.
