From Besseggen Ridge, drive south on Road 51 towards Bessheim Fjellstue og Hytter. Follow the signs for the fjellstue along the road. The drive should take approximately 30 minutes. Parking is available at the fjellstue for a fee.

From Besseggen Ridge, take a bus or taxi to Gjendesheim. From Gjendesheim, you can take a boat across Gjende Lake to Memurubu. From Memurubu, you can hike to Bessheim Fjellstue og Hytter along the marked trails. The boat ride and hiking will take approximately 1-2 hours. Please check the boat schedule and purchase tickets in advance.
