Getting There

Walking
From the center of Bodø, head north on Storgata street towards the waterfront. Continue walking until you reach the harbor area. Once you reach the harbor, follow the signs towards the waterfront promenade. This will lead you past the Bodø Cathedral and the city park. Keep walking along the promenade until you reach the Nordland Cultural Centre. From there, take the path that leads towards the Bestemorenga recreation park. The park entrance will be on your right after a short walk.

If you prefer taking public transport, head to the nearest bus stop in the city center. Look for bus number 3 or 4, which will take you towards Bestemorenga. Board the bus and stay on for about 10 minutes. You will need to get off at the Bestemorenga stop. After disembarking, walk a short distance towards the park entrance, which will be clearly marked.
