Public Bus
From Bodø city center, head to the nearest bus stop located at 'Bodø Bus Station'. Once there, take bus number 1 towards 'Bodøsjøen'. The journey will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Rorbuveien' bus stop. From the bus stop, walk about 300 meters along Rorbuveien, and you will arrive at Nordlandsmuseet Bodøsjøen friluftsmuseum, located at Rorbuveien 3.

If you prefer to walk from the city center to Nordlandsmuseet Bodøsjøen friluftsmuseum, start at the main square (Torget) and head towards the waterfront. Follow the promenade along the coast heading north. Continue walking along the shoreline for about 2.5 km. Once you reach Rorbuveien, turn right and walk another 300 meters. The museum will be on your left at Rorbuveien 3.

For those who wish to bike, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Bodø. From the city center, follow the same route as the walking directions but take the bike path along the waterfront. This will provide a scenic ride. After approximately 2.5 km, turn right onto Rorbuveien. The museum will be located on your left at Rorbuveien 3.
