Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start your journey from Alta, which is the nearest city. From Alta, take the E6 highway north towards Kautokeino. After approximately 35 kilometers, you will reach a junction. Take the exit towards Riksvei 94 (RV94) towards Nordkapp. Continue on RV94 for about 60 kilometers until you see signs for the Latharis Utsiktspunkt. Follow the signs and take the small road leading up to the viewpoint. The parking area is located just before the viewpoint itself.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Latharis Utsiktspunkt using public transportation, take a bus from Alta to Kautokeino. Check local schedules for the latest departures, as buses may not run frequently. Once in Kautokeino, you can arrange a taxi to take you to Latharis Utsiktspunkt. The taxi ride will take about 15-20 minutes and cost approximately 300-400 NOK.
