Walking
If you're starting from Fredrikstad city center, head south on Storgata towards the river. Continue straight until you reach the bridge over the Glomma River. Cross the bridge and follow the road as it curves to the left. This will lead you to the intersection with Jernbanegata. Turn right onto Jernbanegata and continue walking straight until you reach the end of the street. From there, take a left onto Tøihusgaten. The Fredrikstad Museum will be located on your right at Tøihusgaten 41.

From Fredrikstad Bus Station, take Bus 1 towards Gressvik. Get off at the stop called 'Gamlebyen'. After exiting the bus, walk along the main road towards Tøihusgaten. Continue straight until you reach Tøihusgaten, and then turn left. The Fredrikstad Museum will be on your right at Tøihusgaten 41.

If you are renting a bicycle, start from the city center and head south towards the riverfront. Follow the designated bike paths along the river, keeping the water on your left. Continue until you reach the bridge over the Glomma River. Cross the bridge and follow the bike path that leads you to Jernbanegata. Once you reach Jernbanegata, turn right and cycle straight until you reach the intersection with Tøihusgaten. Turn left onto Tøihusgaten, and the museum will be on your right at Tøihusgaten 41.
