    If you are in the city center of Fredrikstad, start by heading southeast on Storgata towards Vesterelva. Continue straight until you reach the bridge over the river. Cross the bridge, and once you reach the other side, turn left onto W. Blakstads gate. Follow this road past the residential area, and you will soon see the entrance to Kongsten Fort on your right. The walk should take approximately 20-30 minutes.
