From the center of Fredrikstad, walk to the Fredrikstad Bus Station. Take bus number 2 towards 'Gressvik'. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the stop 'Helgerød'. From there, walk along Helgerødveien for about 15 minutes until you reach The Gokstad Mound, which will be on your right.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Fredrikstad. Head southwest on Storgata towards the river, then follow the bike path along the river towards Gressvik. Continue on the bike path until you reach Helgerødveien. Follow Helgerødveien for about 4 km until you arrive at The Gokstad Mound.

For those who enjoy walking, start at the Fredrikstad city center and head towards Storgata. Follow the road to the west until you reach the riverbank. Continue walking along the river towards Gressvik. After about 1.5 hours of walking, turn right onto Helgerødveien and proceed for about 1 km to reach The Gokstad Mound.
