Car
From Gudvangen, head southwest on E16. Follow the E16 for about 20 minutes until you reach the junction with Rv13. Take the exit for Rv13 towards Vik i Sogn. Continue on Rv13 for approximately 15 kilometers. Hólesvingane will be on your right side, and there are signs indicating the waterfall area.
Public Transportation
From Gudvangen, take the bus towards Voss. You can check the schedules at the local bus station or online. After about 30 minutes, get off at the stop for Vik i Sogn. From the bus stop, it's about a 10-minute walk to Hólesvingane. Walk along Rv13, heading towards the direction of the waterfall, which is well-marked. If you are already in Gudvangen, you can also hike to Hólesvingane. Starting from the Gudvangen Fjordhotel, follow signs for the hiking trails. The hike will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, and it’s a steep path, so wear good hiking shoes. Make sure to bring water and snacks, as there are no facilities along the way.
