Car
If you are driving from the center of Bergen, start by heading south on Strandgaten. Continue onto Holbergsalmen and take a left onto E39. Follow E39 for about 3 kilometers, then take the exit toward Haukelandsbakken. Continue on Haukelandsbakken and follow the signs to Ulriksbanen. There is a parking area available near the base of the cable car, but please note that parking may incur a fee.
Public Transportation
To reach Ulriksbanen using public transportation, start by taking the light rail (Bybanen) from Bergen city center. Board the Bybanen at any central station and travel towards Lagunen. Get off at the stop 'Haukeland Sykehus.' From there, you can either walk approximately 1.5 kilometers to the Ulriksbanen base station or take a local bus (Bus 20 or 21) that goes directly to 'Ulriken.' The bus fare is typically around 40 NOK for a single journey.
