Car
If you're driving from central Bergen, head north on E39 towards Åsane. Continue for about 10 km until you reach the Åsane intersection. Take the exit towards Åsane Center. Follow signs for the Vidden tursti parking area, which is located near the top of the Fløyen mountain. Once parked, follow the marked trails leading to Vidden, which offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
Public Transportation
To reach Vidden tursti via public transportation, take the light rail (Bybanen) from Bergen city center towards Bergen Airport. Get off at the stop 'Byfjorden'. From there, you can take bus line 2 towards Åsane. Get off at 'Åsane Terminal'. From Åsane Terminal, you can either take a short taxi ride to the Vidden tursti entrance or follow the marked trails leading up to it, which should take about 30 minutes on foot.
