Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, start from the center of Lysefjord. Head south on the E39 highway towards the town of Lysebotn. After approximately 30 kilometers, take the exit onto Fv500. Continue driving on Fv500 for about 10 kilometers, and you will arrive at Utsikt Tjodanpollen, which is located on the side of the road. There is limited parking available on-site, so be sure to park safely and observe any local parking regulations.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take a bus from Stavanger to Lysebotn. The bus service operates a few times daily, so check the schedule in advance. Once in Lysebotn, you need to walk approximately 1 kilometer south along Fv500 to reach Utsikt Tjodanpollen. Be prepared for some uphill walking, and wear comfortable shoes. Note that there may be no direct public transport to Utsikt Tjodanpollen, so plan accordingly.

• Bicycle

  For the adventurous, cycling to Utsikt Tjodanpollen is an option. Rent a bicycle in Lysebotn and take the same route as cars. Follow the E39 to Fv500, and enjoy the scenic ride along the fjord. The journey is approximately 10 kilometers from Lysebotn, and the road can be steep in places, so be prepared for a challenging ride. Always wear a helmet and follow traffic rules.
