If you are driving, head towards Sørskot using the E6 highway. From Mo i Rana, take the E6 northbound for approximately 70 kilometers until you reach the town of Fauske. From Fauske, continue on the E6 for about 30 kilometers until you see signs for Sørskot. Follow the signs to RR9W+R4, 8283 Sørskot. There is ample parking available near the starting point of Nordskottraversen.

The bus ride takes approximately 1 hour and costs around 150 NOK. From Fauske, transfer to a local bus heading towards Sørskot. This bus ride will take about 30 minutes and costs around 70 NOK. Get off at the Sørskot stop, and from there, it is a short walk to RR9W+R4, the starting point of Nordskottraversen.
