    From the center of Oppdal, head southeast on Storgata toward O. T. Hoplands veg. Continue for about 2.5 km on E6 (the main highway). Take the exit onto Fylkesvei 70 toward Rennebu. Continue on Fylkesvei 70 for approximately 16 km until you reach a sign for De Dødes Tjern. Turn left onto the road leading toward the lake.
