From Oppdal, head west on E6 towards Sunndalsøra. After approximately 45 km, take the exit onto Rv70 towards Sunndalsøra. Continue on Rv70 for about 20 km until you reach Sunndalsøra. Once in Sunndalsøra, follow signs for Vinnufossen. The waterfall is located just a short drive from the town center, approximately 5 km up the road. Parking is available near the waterfall, which may incur a small fee.

To use public transportation, take a bus from Oppdal to Sunndalsøra. The bus service may vary, so check the local schedules via the Vy app or website. Once you arrive in Sunndalsøra, you can either walk to Vinnufossen, which is about a 5 km hike from the bus stop, or take a local taxi for a more direct route. Be aware that taxi fares may apply.
