Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving from the center of Otta, start by heading south on E6. Continue on E6 for about 3 kilometers until you see the sign for Unnamed Road. Take the exit onto Unnamed Road, and follow the road for approximately 1 kilometer. Sameti will be located on your right-hand side. Ensure you have enough fuel as there may not be any gas stations nearby.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Sameti using public transportation, take the train from Oslo to Otta station. The journey takes about 4 hours. Once you arrive at Otta station, you can catch a local bus (check the bus schedule ahead of time) that heads towards the Unnamed Road area. Get off at the nearest bus stop to Unnamed Road and walk approximately 15 minutes to reach Sameti. Alternatively, consider using a taxi from Otta station to Sameti for convenience; the taxi ride will take around 10 minutes and may cost approximately 150-200 NOK.

    If you're already in Otta and wish to walk to Sameti, head south on E6 from the town center for about 3 kilometers.
