Public Transport - Bus
From Oslo Central Station (Oslo S), take bus number 30 towards Bygdøy. The bus ride takes approximately 20-25 minutes. Get off at the stop called 'Bygdøynesveien'. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to the Norwegian Maritime Museum, located at Bygdøynesveien 37.
Public Transport - Tram
From the National Theatre tram stop, take tram number 12 towards Bygdøy. After about 15 minutes, get off at the stop 'Bygdøynesveien'. Walk straight down Bygdøynesveien for approximately 10 minutes, and you will reach the Norwegian Maritime Museum at Bygdøynesveien 37.
Ferry
From Aker Brygge, take the ferry to Bygdøy. The ferry ride takes about 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive at Bygdøy, walk along the waterfront towards Bygdøynesveien, then head left. The Norwegian Maritime Museum is about a 15-minute walk from the ferry terminal, located at Bygdøynesveien 37.
Walking
If you are starting from the city center, you can take a leisurely walk to the Norwegian Maritime Museum. Head towards the waterfront and follow the path along the Oslo Fjord towards Bygdøy. It will take you about 30-40 minutes, but you can enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. Once you reach Bygdøynesveien, continue walking until you reach the museum at number 37.
