Public Transport - Tram
Start at Oslo Central Station (Oslo S). From there, take the Metro Line 3 (the Green Line) towards Åsane. Get off at the stop called 'Bøler'. Once you exit the train, look for the tram stop. Board Tram Line 2 towards 'Sognsvann' and travel for 5 stops until you reach 'Østmarkseter'. From the tram stop, you will be very close to Østmarka; just follow the signs towards the nature preserve.

From Oslo Central Station (Oslo S), walk to the nearby bus terminal. Take Bus 76 towards 'Myrsnatten'. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the 'Østmarka' stop. From the bus stop, it is a short walk to the entrance of Østmarka. Just follow the path leading into the nature preserve.

If you are in the area around Bøler, you can simply walk to Østmarka. Head towards Bølerveien and follow it straight until you reach the entrance of Østmarka. It should take approximately 15-20 minutes on foot and you will enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way.
