Public Transport - Tram
From Oslo Central Station (Oslo S), take Tram Line 12 towards Majorstuen. You will travel for about 10 stops, approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the stop called Sognsvann. From there, it's a short walk to Øvresetertjern. Head north on Sognsvannveien for about 10 minutes until you reach the lake.
Public Transport - Bus
From Oslo Central Station (Oslo S), board Bus Line 20 towards Sognsvann. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Get off at the Sognsvann stop. Walk north along Sognsvannveien for approximately 10 minutes to reach Øvresetertjern.
Walking
If you are near Frogner Park, you can walk to Øvresetertjern. Head east on Frognerveien towards Bygdøy allé, then take a left onto Bygdøy allé. Continue walking until you reach the Sognsvann area, which will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes depending on your pace. Follow the signs leading to Sognsvann, and from there, it's a short walk to the lake.
