Public Transport - Tram
If you're near Oslo Central Station, take tram number 12 towards Majorstuen. Get off at the 'Nationaltheatret' stop, which is a 5-minute ride. From there, head towards the river and follow the signs to the Royal Palace, which is about a 10-minute walk. You will see the palace ahead as you walk up Slottsgata, which leads directly to Slottsplassen.

Public Transport - Bus
If you are closer to the bus terminal, catch bus number 30 or 31 from 'Oslo Bussterminal' towards 'Bjerke'. Get off at 'Slottsplassen'. The Royal Palace will be directly in front of you as you exit the bus. It’s a very short walk from there.

Walking
If you are already in the Sentrum area, the Royal Palace is easily accessible by foot. From Karl Johans gate, walk towards the palace, which is at the end of the street. This walk takes about 15 minutes and you will pass several shops and cafes along the way, making it a pleasant stroll.

Take the Oslo Metro (T-bane) from any station and get off at 'Nationaltheatret' station. From the station, follow the signs to street level, then walk towards the river and up Slottsgata. The Royal Palace is about a 10-minute walk from there.
