Walking
If you're starting from Oslo Central Station (Oslo S), exit the station and head towards Jernbanetorget. From there, walk straight down Karl Johans gate, which is the main street in Oslo. Continue walking until you reach the National Theatre, where Karl Johans gate ends. Cross the street and follow the signs to the Aker Brygge waterfront. Once at Aker Brygge, turn right and continue along the waterfront promenade. After a short walk, you will see the entrance to Akershus Fortress on your left. The walk should take about 20-25 minutes.

From Oslo Central Station, you can take tram line 12 or bus number 54 towards Aker Brygge. Get off at the Aker Brygge stop. After disembarking, walk towards the waterfront and you will see the signs leading to Akershus Fortress. Follow the promenade to the left, and the entrance will be on your left. The journey takes around 10-15 minutes.
