Getting There

  • Walking

    From Majorstuen, exit the subway station and walk towards Bogstadveien. Head east along Bogstadveien until you reach the intersection with Bislett. Continue straight onto Bislett, and walk until you reach the junction with Stensgata. Turn right onto Stensgata and follow it until you reach the intersection with Karl Johans gate. Turn left onto Karl Johans gate, and Slottsplassen will be straight ahead.

  • Public Transport - Tram

    From Majorstuen, head to the Majorstuen tram stop. Take tram line 19 towards Grefsen and get off at the Stortorvet stop. From there, walk east along Karl Johans gate for about 5 minutes until you reach Slottsplassen. Make sure to check your ticket before boarding, as a single ticket costs around 38 NOK.

  • Public Transport - Metro

    From Majorstuen subway station, take line 1 (red line) towards Frognerseteren. Get off at the Nationaltheatret station (2 stops). Exit the station and walk towards Karl Johans gate. Turn left onto Karl Johans gate and walk for about 10 minutes; Slottsplassen will be on your right.
