Tram
From Majorstuen, walk to the Majorstuen tram station (located at the corner of Bogstadveien and Majorstuveien). Take tram line 12 towards Kjelsås. Ride for about 6 stops and get off at the 'Nationaltheatret' stop.

After getting off at Nationaltheatret, exit the tram station and head towards the river. Walk along the Akerselva River until you reach the bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight. You will see the entrance to Akershus Fortress on your left after about a 10-minute walk.

Alternatively, from Majorstuen, you can take bus number 20 from the Majorstuen bus stop. Ride for about 10 minutes and get off at 'Aker Brygge'. From there, walk towards the waterfront, and follow the pathway leading up to Akershus Fortress, which will take approximately 5-10 minutes.
