Walking
If you are in Sentrum, start at the Oslo Central Station (Oslo S). Exit the station and head towards the main street, Karl Johans gate. Walk straight along Karl Johans gate for about 1 kilometer until you reach the National Theatre (Nationaltheatret). From there, turn left onto Parkveien. Continue walking straight until you reach Kirsten Flagstads Plass. Moren (The Mother) will be located in the square, and you will easily spot the statue.
Public Transport - Tram
From any location in Sentrum, locate the nearest tram stop. Board tram number 12 or 13 heading towards Majorstuen. Get off at the stop called 'Nationaltheatret'. From there, walk straight down Parkveien for approximately 5 minutes. You will find yourself at Kirsten Flagstads Plass, where Moren (The Mother) is located. The tram ticket costs around 38 NOK for a single ride.
Public Transport - Bus
Find the nearest bus stop in Sentrum. Take bus number 30 or 31 towards Ljabru. Get off at the stop 'Nationaltheatret', which is a major hub. Once you get off, walk straight down Parkveien for about 5 minutes. You will arrive at Kirsten Flagstads Plass, home to Moren (The Mother) statue. A bus ticket will also cost around 38 NOK for a single journey.
