    If you're driving, start from the city center of Fredrikstad. Head southwest on Storgata toward Kirkeveien, then take the E6 motorway toward Oslo. After about 10 kilometers, take exit 5 toward Kråkerøy. Continue on Kråkerøyveien and follow the signs to Kjøkøy Fort. Once you reach Putten, you will see signs directing you to the fort. Parking is available near the entrance, and there are no parking fees.
