If you're driving, start from the city center of Fredrikstad. Head southwest on Storgata toward Kirkeveien, then take the E6 motorway toward Oslo. After about 10 kilometers, take exit 5 toward Kråkerøy. Continue on Kråkerøyveien and follow the signs to Kjøkøy Fort. Once you reach Putten, you will see signs directing you to the fort.
