If you're traveling by car, start by getting onto E6 from your current location in Østlandet. Follow E6 towards Bergen. After approximately 450 km, take exit 12 towards E39 and follow signs for Bergen. Continue on E39 for about 10 km, then take the exit toward Flesland. Merge onto the road towards Paradis. Once in Paradis, follow local signs to Gamlehaugvegen 10, which is Gamlehaugen. There is limited parking available near the entrance.

For public transportation, take a train from your nearest station in Østlandet to Bergen. The train journey typically takes around 5-7 hours depending on your departure point. Once you arrive at Bergen train station, exit and head to the bus terminal located nearby. Catch bus number 3, which heads to Paradis. Get off at the 'Gamlehaugen' stop, which is a short walk from Gamlehaugen (approximately 500 meters). Ensure you check the bus schedule as it may vary.
Taxi or Rideshare
Alternatively, you can take a taxi or rideshare service from Bergen city center directly to Gamlehaugen. This option provides a more direct route and may take approximately 20 minutes, depending on traffic. Expect to pay around 300-400 NOK for the ride.
