Car
If you are driving, head towards Geilo, a popular destination in the Hallingdal valley. From the E16 highway, take the exit onto Rv7 towards Geilo. Continue on Rv7 until you reach the center of Geilo. Once in Geilo, follow the signs for Skurdalsvegen. Turn onto Skurdalsvegen, and you will find Stabbur located at Skurdalsvegen 3, 3580 Geilo. Parking options are available nearby.
Public Transportation - Train
You can take a train from Oslo or Bergen to Geilo. If you're coming from Oslo, board the train at Oslo Central Station (Oslo S) heading towards Bergen. The journey takes approximately 3 hours. Once you arrive at Geilo station, exit the train and take a local taxi or bus to reach Skurdalsvegen 3, where Stabbur is located. Taxis are available outside the train station, and the fare to Stabbur should be around NOK 150-200.
Public Transportation - Bus
Alternatively, take a bus from Oslo to Geilo. Buses depart from Oslo Bus Terminal regularly and take about 4 hours to reach Geilo. Once at the Geilo bus station, you can either walk (approximately 20 minutes) or take a taxi to Skurdalsvegen 3. If walking, head south on Rv7, then turn onto Skurdalsvegen. This option is budget-friendly, with bus tickets costing around NOK 300-400 one way.
