Car
If you are driving to Visit Kjerag from Preikestolen, start by taking the road towards Lysebotn, which is well-marked. Follow the signs for Lysevegen (Road 500). The drive is approximately 30 km and will take around 45 minutes. As you approach Lysebotn, you will see the beautiful fjord on your right. Look for the address Lysevegen 475; there is parking available nearby. Make sure to keep an eye out for the viewpoints along the road, as they provide stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
Public Transportation
To reach Visit Kjerag using public transportation, take a bus from Preikestolen to Stavanger. From Stavanger, transfer to a bus heading towards Lysebotn. The bus ride from Stavanger to Lysebotn can take about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Lysebotn, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Lysevegen 475. The walk is approximately 1.5 km and should take around 20 minutes. Along the way, enjoy the scenic views of the fjord and mountains.
