Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, head towards Stavanger city center. From the E39 highway, take the exit toward Stavanger. Follow signs for the city center. Once in the city, navigate to Øvre Strandgate, where you will find Workers Cottage at Øvre Strandgate 88, 4005 Stavanger. Parking is available nearby, but you may need to pay for parking, which typically costs around 20 NOK per hour.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  You can take a bus to reach Workers Cottage. From anywhere in Rogaland, find a bus that goes to Stavanger. Once in Stavanger, get off at the stop called 'Stavanger sentrum'. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk to Øvre Strandgate 88. Follow the signs toward the waterfront and then turn onto Øvre Strandgate. Be sure to check the bus schedules for times and fares; a typical fare within the city costs around 37 NOK.

• Public Transportation - Train

  If you prefer to travel by train, you can take a train to Stavanger Station. Once you arrive, exit the station and head towards the bus terminal. From there, take bus line 1 or 2 towards 'Stavanger sentrum' and get off at the corresponding stop. After that, follow the walking directions to Øvre Strandgate 88. Train tickets vary in price but expect to pay around 150-300 NOK depending on your departure point.

• Walking

  If you're already in the vicinity of Stavanger city center, you can easily walk to Workers Cottage. From the central square (Torget), head east towards the waterfront, then turn left onto Øvre Strandgate. Continue walking until you reach Øvre Strandgate 88. The walk should take around 10-15 minutes.
