From Trondheim, take the E6 southbound towards Oslo. After approximately 20 kilometers, take the exit towards E39/Frosta. Follow the signs for E39 for about 40 kilometers. After you cross the bridge, continue on the road until you see signs for Frosta. Once you reach Frosta, follow the signs to Tautra. The kloster is located on Tautra Island, and you will need to take a short ferry ride from the mainland to access it. The ferry operates regularly, and the cost is approximately 70 NOK per person one way.
