By Car
If you're traveling by car, start your journey from Oslo. Head south on the E18 highway towards Drammen, then take the exit toward Nesoddtangen. Follow signs for Nesodden and continue until you reach the ferry terminal. Park your car and take the ferry from Aker Brygge to Nesoddtangen. The ferry ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Nesoddtangen, you can walk to Ildjernsflu Lighthouse, which is located on the Inner Oslofjord.
By Public Transportation
To reach Ildjernsflu Lighthouse using public transportation, start at Oslo Central Station. Take the train to Kolbotn station. From Kolbotn, catch bus number 83 toward Nesoddtangen. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Nesoddtangen bus terminal, walk to the ferry terminal and board the ferry to Aker Brygge. After the ferry ride, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers to reach the lighthouse. Keep in mind that ferry tickets cost around 70 NOK one way.

If you are already in the Nesodden area, you can take a local ferry from Aker Brygge directly to Nesoddtangen. The ferry operates frequently and offers a scenic ride across the Oslofjord. The ticket costs about 70 NOK for a one-way trip. After disembarking at Nesoddtangen, you can walk to the lighthouse, which is easily accessible from the ferry terminal.
