From Stavanger city center, walk to the nearest bus stop called 'Stavanger busstasjon'. Take bus number 42 towards Sola. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at 'Sola' bus stop. From there, Sola Beach is a short 10-minute walk. Head towards the coast, and you will see signs leading to the beach.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Stavanger. Start from the city center and head towards the coastal bike paths. Follow the signs towards Sola Beach. The ride is about 8 kilometers and takes around 30 minutes. Enjoy the scenic views along the way as you cycle along the coastline.
Walking
For those feeling adventurous, you can walk to Sola Beach from Stavanger. Start at the Stavanger Cathedral, and walk towards the harbor. Follow the waterfront path along the fjord. After approximately 1.5 hours of walking, you will arrive at Sola Beach. It's a lovely scenic route, but be sure to wear comfortable shoes!
