If you're driving, head to the city of Skien, which is a central hub in Telemark. From Skien, take the E18 highway towards Porsgrunn. After approximately 15 kilometers, take exit 34 toward Bø/Fjærholt. Continue on the E134 road for about 40 kilometers, passing through the beautiful Telemark landscape. Follow the signs for Grendi, and as you approach the town, look for signs directing you to Tjuvhola. The exact address is 4742 Grendi. There is free parking available near the site.

To reach Tjuvhola via public transportation, start at Skien Bus Station. Take the bus towards Bø, which is operated by Telemark Bilruter. The journey takes about 50 minutes. Once you arrive in Bø, transfer to a local bus that heads toward Grendi. The bus service may not be frequent, so check the schedule in advance. Disembark at the Grendi stop. From there, it is a short walk (about 1 kilometer) to Tjuvhola. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes as the walk involves some uneven terrain.
