Getting There

Public Bus

To reach the Northern Norwegian Science Center from the city center, start by heading to the nearest bus stop. You can use the 'Tromsø sentrum' bus stop as your starting point. Look for bus number 20 which goes towards 'Tromsøya'. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride. The journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the 'Hansine Hansens veg' bus stop. Once you disembark, walk a short distance along Hansine Hansens veg, and you will find the Northern Norwegian Science Center at number 17.
Walking

If you prefer to walk and are starting from the Tromsø city center, head northwest from the main square towards Storgata. Continue walking along Storgata until you reach the intersection with Hansine Hansens veg. Turn left onto Hansine Hansens veg and continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers. The Northern Norwegian Science Center will be on your right at number 17. The walk will take approximately 20-30 minutes, and you can enjoy the beautiful views along the way.
Bicycle

For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Tromsø. Start from the city center and head towards the bridge leading to Tromsøya. Once you cross the bridge, follow the bike path signs towards 'Hansine Hansens veg'. Continue straight until you reach the Northern Norwegian Science Center at number 17. The cycling route offers a great way to see the city and will take about 10-15 minutes, depending on your speed.
