From the city center of Tromsø, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is 'Storgata' near the main shopping street. Take bus number 26, heading towards 'Tromsdalen'. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. You will need to get off at the stop 'Tromsdalen'. From there, walk towards the east following the signs that indicate the direction of Svarthammarn Grotter. Keep heading straight for about 1.5 kilometers, and you will reach the entrance to the grottoes.
