From there, walk towards the east following the signs that indicate the direction of Svarthammarn Grotter. Keep heading straight for about 1.5 kilometers, and you will reach the entrance to the grottoes.

If you prefer to walk, you can start from the city center and head towards the Tromsø Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue walking straight until you reach Tromsdalen. This walk is about 5 kilometers and may take around 1 hour and 10 minutes. Once you reach Tromsdalen, follow the signs leading to Svarthammarn Grotter, which is about 1.5 kilometers further along the path.
