Walking
Start at the center of Tromsø, specifically at the bus station (Tromsø Prostneset). From there, walk towards Storgata, the main shopping street, and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Strandveien. Turn left onto Strandveien and walk along the waterfront until you reach the bridge (Tromsøbrua) leading to Tromsdalen. Cross the bridge, enjoying the views of the harbor and the mountains. Once you arrive in Tromsdalen, follow the road signs directing you towards Sherpatrappa. The hike starts near the base of the mountain; you will see a sign indicating the trailhead for the Sherpatrappa hiking route.

From the center of Tromsø, take bus number 26 (Tromsøysund) from the bus station (Tromsø Prostneset). Get off at the stop named 'Tromsdalen'. Once you exit the bus, head towards the Sherpatrappa trailhead, which is marked with signs. Follow the road until you find the entrance to the hiking trail. The hike will take you to the Tromsø city view point A, where you can enjoy stunning panoramic views of the city and the surrounding landscape.
