Walking
If you are starting from the Tromsø city center, head north on Storgata street, which is the main shopping street. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Kirkegata. Turn left on Kirkegata and continue until you reach the intersection with Skippergata. Turn right and follow Skippergata until you reach the end of the street. The Roald Amundsen Monument will be located in the park area, just a short walk from the waterfront. Look for the distinctive statue of Roald Amundsen among the trees in the park.

From Tromsø city center, you can take bus number 26 from the nearest bus stop, Tromsø sentrum. Board the bus heading towards 'Tromsøya'. Stay on the bus for about 10 minutes and get off at the stop called 'Fjellheisen'. From there, you can walk approximately 5 minutes. Head down Fjellheisen and take a left at the intersection, following the signs towards the park. The Roald Amundsen Monument is located within the park area, easily visible from the path.
