If you are starting from the Tromsø city center, head towards the waterfront area. From Storgata, the main pedestrian street, walk south until you reach the intersection with Kirkegata. Turn left onto Kirkegata and continue walking until you reach the waterfront. You will see the harbor on your right. Continue walking along the waterfront, passing the various cafes and shops. When you reach the end of the waterfront area, look for Søndre Tollbodgate. Turn left onto Søndre Tollbodgate, and the Polar Museum will be on your right at number 11B. The walk should take about 15-20 minutes.

From Tromsø city center, you can take bus number 26 or 27 from the nearest bus stop, which is located on Storgata. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time. Board the bus and ride for about 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Søndre Tollbodgate' stop. From there, walk a short distance east along Søndre Tollbodgate, and the Polar Museum will be located on your right at number 11B. Ensure you have a valid ticket before boarding the bus.
